The Military Diet... Yikes.



So I've decided to try the 3 day military diet... 


Yes. The Military Diet. 


The diet works on a chemical breakdown and apparently is proven to work. I am always curious to find out whether these diets really work, so I thought I would give it a try. 
Here is the diet: 
Here are the rules:
-  Do not vary or substitute any of the above foods. Salt and pepper may be used, but do not use any other seasoning. 
- The diet is to be used for three days at a time.

In three days you should lose up to 10 pounds. After three days of dieting, you can eat your normal foods, but do not over do it. After four days of normal eating, you may start back on the 3 day diet again. You can lose up to 40 pounds in a month if this diet is followed precisely...


...well who knows if I'll actually do it again after these 3 days... but here goes nothing.

My breakfast: cup of joe (nothing added), 1/2 Grapefruit, 1 slice of toast with some crunchy peanut butter on it. 


My initial thoughts? Not off to a bad start. Pretty tasty thus far... 

...Then I made/ate my lunch....


...and realized I spoke too soon.


Tuna. Gross. 

After I go for a run with my long lost workout friend, Cristina, my dinner will consist of: a 3oz filet, 1 cup of green beans, 1/2 of a banana, 1 small apple, and the best part, 1 cup of vanilla ice cream! 

Here's hopin' that I will survive day one and make it to day two! 

I'm not gonna lie... I'm anxious/excited to see if I notice any results on the scale tomorrow!
